These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between you and Growth in Mind when you purchase or participate in any course, consultation, digital product, workshop, or service offered through this website. By accessing or purchasing from this website, you agree to the following terms.

1. Nature of Services / Non-Clinical Educational Model
Growth in Mind, LLC is a separate and distinct business entity from Marcie Carlson, LCSW and her private psychotherapy practice.
Growth in Mind provides non-clinical, educational services including:
Personal strategy consultation
Skill-building programs
Workshops
Digital courses
Mentoring
Practical life tools
All services are therapy-informed but are not therapy and are not mental health treatment.
Participation in any Growth in Mind service does not establish:
A therapist–client relationship
A psychotherapy relationship
A mental health treatment relationship
A medical or healthcare provider relationship
Growth in Mind does not diagnose, treat, or prevent mental health conditions.
These services are educational and mentoring-based in nature and are designed to support skill development, clarity, and practical personal growth.
If you are seeking psychotherapy or clinical mental health treatment, please contact a licensed mental health provider.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or contact your local emergency provider immediately.
2. Consultation Services (Personal Strategy & Mentoring)
Individual consultations offered through Growth in Mind are structured as personal strategy and mentoring sessions.
Consultations may include:
Clarifying goals
Developing structured plans
Identifying behavioral patterns
Strengthening personal life skills
Building practical self-regulation tools
Consultations do not include:
Clinical assessment
Diagnosis
Mental health treatment
Trauma processing
Crisis intervention
Ongoing psychotherapy
Consultations are educational and forward-focused. They are not intended to replace therapy.
If it becomes apparent that clinical care would be more appropriate, you may be encouraged to seek services through a licensed provider.
3. Intellectual Property and Use of Materials
All materials provided through Growth in Mind, LLC are the exclusive intellectual property of the Company.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Video and audio recordings
Written lessons and scripts
Worksheets and workbooks
Downloadable resources
Course frameworks and proprietary tools
Branding, language, and program structure
Your purchase grants you a limited, non-transferable license for individual, personal use only.
Materials may not be:
Copied or reproduced
Shared or distributed
Posted publicly
Used for commercial purposes
Taught or presented as your own
Modified into derivative works
Without prior written consent from Marcie Carlson, LCSW and Growth in Mind, LLC.
Unauthorized use is prohibited and may result in legal action.
4. Digital Products and Refund Policy
All courses and digital products are delivered electronically and accessible immediately upon purchase.
Because digital content is provided in full at the time of purchase, all sales are final. Refunds, returns, or exchanges are not offered.
If you are unsure whether a program is the right fit for you, we strongly encourage you to schedule a no-cost consultation prior to purchase to ensure alignment.

5. Personal Responsibility / No Guarantee of Results
Growth in Mind provides educational tools and practical strategies. Outcomes vary based on individual engagement, implementation, and circumstances.
We do not guarantee specific results.

6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Growth in Mind, LLC and Marcie Carlson, LCSW shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from participation in or use of any program, consultation, or materials.
Participation is voluntary and at your own discretion.
